42,000-SF, three-story nonprofit community health center with a patient-centric design prioritizing diginity, safety and accessibility. The new facility will create a welcoming and supportive environment that enhances the patient experience, while optimizing workflow efficiency and operational functionality for healthcare providers. The Conners 2 Health Center will serve as a primary hub for comprehensive community health services, expanding Mosaic’s capacity to serve up to 20,000 patients annually, increasing access to care, adding expanded pediatric, family practice, dental, behavioral health, and social services, providing convenient one-stop access to all Mosaic services, and ensuring easy and convenient access to public transportation.

Earthwork subcontractor successfully completed blasting for site drywells and are continuing to finalized tie-ins for both the sanitary sewer and storm systems. Throughout May, work will focus on completing all remaining footing and stem wall concrete pours. The earthwork team continues to make steady progress, importing site rock to support ongoing construction activities.

Construction activities continued to gain momentum throughout June with the successful completion of the slab-on-grade concrete pours on June 23 and 24, marking a major project milestone. Mass timber deliveries began arriving at the end of the month and will continue into July in preparation for the next phase of work and setting the stage for vertical construction.
Site crews continued installing the storm drainage system, completed Drywell 5, placed logistics rock to support ongoing construction operations, finalized the building water line connection, and completed right-of-way paving along NE Conners. Within the building footprint, underground plumbing and electrical rough-in work reached completion, temporary power infrastructure and electrical transformer pathways progressed, and the exterior envelope mock-up advanced with weather-resistant barrier and metal panel installation.

Construction continued to advance throughout September, highlighted by the successful topping out of the mass timber structure on September 16th. This achievement represents a major milestone for the project and reflects the continued coordination and effort of the entire project team. Construction continues with no current project delays, and the project has maintained a record of zero safety incidents.
The project team continues to coordinate with Mosaic and the Design Team on additional changes to the dental mechanical and vacuum systems, with updated mechanical and plumbing documents being developed to incorporate the requested changes. Coordination of the low-voltage scope has also progressed, with drawings and specifications received and pricing approved. Additionally, the Design Team has been working with Mosaic and East Cascades to develop the Security and Access Control scope, with access control drawings now received and pricing approved.
